@jaysicks @cloverskull - indeed does look like it. Will look into this tonight and see if there is a workaround...

Looks like cloudflare blocks downloads using wget/curl/etc.

Hey there, getting a 403 trying to install this package:

curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 403
==> ERROR: Failure while downloading https://dl.genymotion.com/releases/genymotion-3.2.1/genymotion-3.2.1-linux_x64.bin
Aborting...
error downloading sources: genymotion

I can download this manually so I suspect genymotion.com is missing some sort of http request header or something. I'd love to be able to install this, so any help is appreciated :)

hey @daniloab, you'll definitely need to see upstream for support (https://support.genymotion.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) - unless others are also seeing this it doesn't appear to be an aur packaging issue.

Hi, I'm trying to run the genymotion. On the first attempt I got the following error and after this error closes automatically.:

2021-05-04T20:37:25-03:00 [Genymotion Player:79326] [warning] Activation failed. Error: 11 - "HTTP code 403: Activation failed: license have never been registered Error transferring https://cloud.genymotion.com/licenses/activation/ - server replied: FORBIDDEN."

My license is for personal use and it is okay. I don't know why is returning this.

So, I try to open again with a second attempt. THe first error stop but, a new one is generated for camera connection and not start the emulator:

Anyone else seeing this? I don't use bumblebee (I do have a nvidia gpu) and am using the latest nvidia drivers (460.67) with NVIDIA Optimus and am having no issues with either genymotion or prime-run genymotion.

I am getting this error when using with optirun

genymotion: symbol lookup error: /opt/genymotion/libQt5QuickTemplates2.so.5: undefined symbol: _ZN17QQmlDelegateModel7releaseEP7QObject, version Qt_5_PRIVATE_API

@chovy - first try a system restart. Otherwise you most likely you need to install virtualbox host modules for your specific kernel as outlined here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VirtualBox#Installation_steps_for_Arch_Linux_hosts

I get this error when I start GenyMotion:

An error has occurred while trying to create a VirtualBox host-only network interface.

Hey @space_server, updated to 3.1.2. - I see it was released yesterday. @bobibob asked about the latest version last month and I replied 3.1.1 was the latest at that time... unless they were meaning beta/pre-release versions?
