Are you saying those dependencies fix the issue with Otherwise what are they needed for? Thanks.

@Army sorry I didn't get back to you, I spent some time with this and couldn't see what was going wrong. I think I was about to file a bug report upstream but must have forgotten. I'll have another go at this soon.

perl-module-find and perl-universal-require are missing from the dependencies.

I get the same errors with as Army from previous comment.

Other than those, good stuff :)

For we need an additional dependency, 1. see and 2. see my output

% get_flash_videos
Using method 'ustream' for
Must have Data::AMF::Packet installed to download ustream videos at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/FlashVideo/Site/ line 12.

A required Perl module for downloading this video is not installed.
Couldn't download any videos.

There is perl-data-amf-packet on the AUR, but unfortunately installing it doesn't solve the problem. Does anybody know how to fix this or why it doesn't work?

Not working for youtube

The previous maintainer said he's not using Arch right now so orphaned the package.

Thanks for the comments, updated.

If you add INSTALLSITESCRIPT=/usr/bin to the make install line in the PKGBUILD, the script installs to the right place.

I wonder why the package installs to /usr/bin/site_perl/get_flash_videos since that isn't in the path...
Anyway, shouldn't the package asserts that /etc/profile includes /usr/bin/site_perl?

Looks like perl-http-cookies is required, please add it to the depends line! But after that I still get

Error: No URLs found at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/FlashVideo/ line 129.

But it works for sites which actually have a video that this package can download (verified with youtube)

perl-lwp-protocol-https is required for acessing https youtube URLs. Please add it a depends or optdepends. TIA.
