@samk 3.2.99 is the beta for the not yet released 3.3

gimagereader-beta is already at 3.2.99

Version 3.2.99 is released since Feb 24 2018. Apparently, 3.3 is beta now. Probably this could be updated regarding the -beta package?

@FabioLolix, sorry you are right. What you say works!

FabioLolix commented on 2018-02-03 14:54

@bennya No, rebuild both gtkspellmm and gimagereader, that's the solution

bennya commented on 2018-02-03 14:36

Please add "enchant1.6" to the dependencies.

Only it provides "/usr/lib/" which is needed for gimagereader to launch.

EDIT: The above is not needed. Rebuild gtkspellmm and then gimagereader.

@Ludde since you add the same problem why don't you made the same solution?

The error cannot open shared library indicates that you need to rebuilt has can be searched in the internet and few comments below

Ludde commented on 2018-01-24 14:20

I had the same problem with, I used gtkspellmm from the AUR.

gimagereader-gtk: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I can run gimageread-gtk it if I symlink libenchant:

ln -s /usr/lib/ /usr/lib/
