If this is the git package, shouldn't it follow the develop branch?

Should add gettext to the build dependencies, this needs msgfmt(1) which is part of that package.

Have to mention that for some reason a have to downgrade girara-packages: 4 aur/girara-common-git 20120308-1 [installed: 20120311-1] (15) 5 aur/girara-gtk2-git 20120306-1 [installed: 20120311-1] (34) 6 aur/girara-gtk3-git 20120306-1 (25) As you can see, they "new" versions are marked as 20120308 against 20120311. But what have been installed: Targets (1): girara-common-git-20120318-1 Targets (1): girara-gtk2-git-20120318-1 It seems to me like there is some kind of misfortune with packages descriptions in AUR.

Maybe you could add: rm -r "$pkgdir/usr/lib/pkgconfig"

I'm getting this: error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) girara-gtk2-git: /usr/lib/pkgconfig/girara-gtk2.pc exists in filesystem The aforementioned file is owned by girara-common-git which is a dependency: so we have a vicious circle here.

I also get: "error: pathspec 'develop' did not match any file(s) known to git." for all (three) girara-git packages.

I think it would be more consistent if these girara and input plugin packages checked their respective develop branches, like zathura-git does.
