Could you switch to building docs with pandoc, it is probably more common than abandoned ronn? https://github.com/git-ftp/git-ftp/blob/2e2d2f90161c44361ef1fc8cf17de8b1afd37112/man/Makefile#L18

The author of git-ftp mutilated the Makefile. I have modified the PKGBUILD to not depend on that file. Should be fine now.

A new version of git-ftp is available on the homepage. Maybe you can update the PKGBUILD. Thanks.
