You can use my repo at:

 [archlinuxaba]
 SigLevel = Required DatabaseOptional
 Server = https://archlinux32.andreasbaumann.cc/archlinuxaba/os/$arch

This repo is signed with my Archlinux32 packaging key (to be more precise, the packages are individually signed with my key).

Just realized, that this requires the archlinux32-keyring package to be installed, as my Arch32 signing package is only vouched for by the archlinux32 master keys. I have to think about where I put this AUR package or where I publish this key.

Here is a archlinux32-keyring package: https://git.andreasbaumann.cc/cgit/arch/tree/private/archlinux32-keyring

there is a hen-and-egg problem around the 33CA3597B0D161AAE4173F65C17F1214114574A4 pgp key.

A -bin package feels wrong IMHO, this would be a binary downloaded from the original place and repackaged as AUR package. I'm more in favour of more repos, even official AUR maintainer vouched repos would be an idea (and would probably help fight the PKGBUILD infiltrations as well we are currently experiencing). And putting a somewhat official binary download link into the AUR pointing to a AUR maintainer private repo with signed packages would also help).

Would it be possible to have a git-wd40-bin version of the package? Would save having to compile the package on less performant systems.

Upstream now has release tarballs tagged tarballs available. It might be better to download one of those. Also, the check() block keeps the PKGBUILD from working on Artix.

I've put an updated PKGBUILD up here:
