ArchangeGabriel: thanks, I'll use whatever user that ends up creating then.

@SamWhited: Well, we are moving the gitea package to its own user instead of hacking the git one… Will be up today with gitea 1.6.1.

Hello all, I've updated this package to be consistent with the community version (mostly it just uses a more traditional directory structure and doesn't create a new user) and simplified the build a tad bit using Go Modules. Let me know if you need anything.

@mar77i Could you try building with https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/clean-chroot-manager/?

Thanks for the update. However, I still appear to be having problems around here:

After a long time, I've finally found some time to fix this PKG.

It will create a gitea user and uses /home/gitea for saving repo's as recommended upstream. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Gitea for details.

Comment the following lines in /etc/gitea/app.ini before starting Gitea: https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/4255
