By default this needs to build against Python 2 but Python 3 gets in the way. After lots of digging and playing around, I came up with this PKGBUILD that actually works for me: http://pastebin.com/0UC5znE2
It uses a git repo that has patches for missing include statements. I also add extra LDFLAGS and specify PYTHON_LIBRARY and PYTHON_INCLUDE_DIR paths.

I've managed to get everything to compile, but it's giving me Python import errors. Not sure if that means it's running as v3, will check.

If anyone wants to take over this package let me know. I'm not really using it anymore and it's a bit of a pain to get working with the newer tools in archlinux.
