@dreieck Can't reproduce. Whether I use my existing one or a freshly cloned AUR build dir, no complaints. Manually downloading the tarball and checking the md5sum also gives the string that's used in the PKGBUILD.

Checksum validation fails:

==> Validating source files with md5sums...
    gjacktransport-0.6.4.tar.gz ... FAILED

Thanks for maintaining!

Hello, I had to add this argument to the configure to get it to compile : --disable-lash

Handling of .desktop files and the .install file were once contributed by SpepS, including a post_install() function containing just an obsolete (no MIME types handled) call to update-desktop-database. Then it was me sloppily cleaning up.

Thanks for reporting

The qjacktranport.install script calls the non-existent function post_install.

@lee I noticed this PKGBUILD does not install desktop files, also does not backup old rc files. Here is a working PKGBUILD ==> http://aur.pastebin.com/jCpSntCz It need also an .install ==> http://aur.pastebin.com/69a23dZQ About depends, lash is enough (since lash depends on gtk and jack) Feel free to adopt

@lee just saw your reply. (quite late) About dependencies-> lash depends on gtk2 -> gtk2 is redundant. Btw, not a big matter. That's all folks. ;)
