Now with internet again (direct flames about the delay to Deutsche Telekom). There is now a separate AUR package gladtex2 containing the Python rewrite. The old Perl variant may be preferable if you have its dependencies installed anyway.

Thank you for the note, rebootl. This was due to some interface changes in the new giflib. It should be fixed now, otherwise please post again.

Hello Unfortunately I get an error during build. See http://pastebin.com/HdBfGLX1 Maybe you can check occasionally. (I had an issue when installing texlive-bin but I don't think it's related. Seems to be something with giflib.) Can you replicate ? Thanks
