@zeppelinlg I have the version 0.6-6 of Glippy.

I can offer this on a Server or I can send you this version of Glippy as a file
(glippy-0.6-6-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz).

Regards, Mozon

Scratch that, indicator-application should be an optdepends(), along with libappindicator-gtk2.

They aren't required to run glippy, but they are required for its indicator plugin (if users intend to use glippy in Unity, Pantheon, Gnome-Shell, etc).

Could you add indicator-application as a dependency?

The indicator does not display in wingpanel without it.

I don't have unity installed to test, but somehow the indicator works without it in lxpanel(-gtk3) (as do other indicators that need indicator-application to appear in wingpanel)

Thanks Smile4ever.

Glippy is no longer available on Launchpad.

It can be obtained from here:
http://hugsmile.eu/file/src/glippy-0.6.tar.gz

(original source: http://freesoft.ru/glippy/download/glippy-0.6.tar.gz)

I fixed an automake configure error, that's why the md5sum of the original and the hugsmile.eu file is different.

Hey I use libappindicator from https://github.com/chenxiaolong/Unity-for-Arch for building it with the indicator support. You can have build here :

[Unity-for-Arch]
SigLevel = Optional TrustAll
Server = http://dl.dropbox.com/u/486665/Repos/Unity-for-Arch/$arch

[Unity-for-Arch-Extra]
SigLevel = Optional TrustAll
Server = http://dl.dropbox.com/u/486665/Repos/Unity-for-Arch-Extra/$arch

I would like indicator support. Is there anywhere to get the /usr/lib/appindicator-sharp-0.1/appindicator-sharp.dll dependency?

Excellent. The installation is fine. Thanks zeppelinlg.

I remove the indicator support, the libappindicator aur version seems differ of Unity-arch repo

I have problems in the installation of the last update: error CS0006: Metadata file `/usr/lib/appindicator-sharp-0.1/appindicator-sharp.dll' could not be found. Help please!

Add dependency for indicator. You can uninstall them after build if you don't use it

Excellent. Glippy is better than parcellite and others of your type. Thanks zeppelinlg.

zeppelinlg commented on 2013-03-12 15:35

gnome-sharp include the other dependencies and is not only a makedependencies.

b9ander you have to add --enable-appindicator as argument to ./configure and need libappindicator as make dependency

Bug when 2 version automake are installed.

b9anders commented on 2012-08-06 12:23

Isn't this supposed to have appindicator support? What do I need to pass to the PKGBUILD to enable that?
