Currently the version on Git is built against the development version of GTK 3 (3.15.2) unfortunately.

Might wanna change your upstream URL to the URL of git repo being cloned

The GitHub repo seems to be more of a mirror, developer seems to push here mostly. https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-builder/

checking for GGIT... no configure: error: Package requirements (libgit2-glib-1.0 >= 0.0.22) were not met: No package 'libgit2-glib-1.0' found Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix. Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GGIT_CFLAGS and GGIT_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details.
