For anyone experiencing the network panel test failure, I was able to fix it with Gnome Tweaks > Appearance.
My Legacy Applications setting was Adwaita-dark. Changing it to Adwaita (default) fixed it.

Guys, I'm testing the vrr-patched packages before release on my 6800XT with Dell S2721DGFA and Samsung S95B. If something is broken, this might be to your cables/monitor edid. Watch out for the MOST USELESS feature ever introduced, Freesync Video. Since 6.5 some of your modes in settings are "fake". Created by abusing freesync. These modes use freesync to create arbitrary refresh rates which in turn "disables" freesync for it's intended purposes.

VRR is working fine in vrrtest & Cyberpunk 2077 on my 6800xt.
Using the latest liquorix kernel, gnome-control-center-vrr, mutter-vrr & mesa drivers.

Funnily enough, I'm using Arch and it just doesn't work for me either - the problem isn't exclusive to other distros. So there seems to be something missing here?

I wasn't able to get vrr working with my 6800xt either. Tried Arch (Endeavour OS) and also Fedora (Nobara project). I understand that your package is for Arch but Nobara Project is pre-patched and i also am unable to get the vrr-option in there.

I don't have any toggle either despite installing the package and ensuring the experimental feature is correct. How would one fix the driver not reporting its VRR capability to the compositor? I've double-checked that my monitor has FreeSync enabled.
EDIT: If it's of relevance, I'm using a 6900XT. Also, I'm getting build errors, like previous users have reported.

Check the pinned comment in mutter-vrr. If it won't show up still, that means the driver is not reporting VRR capability to the compositor.

I was the person who flagged it out of date because my settings do not show the VRR option after installing this package. I figured this might be the reason but i understand that i should have the option with my Gnome 44.4 system and that it must be something else.

Package is NOT out of date FYI. I only update the version when it's updated in official arch repositories.

@guttles it's not recommended, but you could just use
--nocheck
