zwl: It's provided by webkitgtk2. I have updated the package to refer to webkitgtk2 instead of libwebkit.

zwl commented on 2014-02-27 04:06

Hi, it says that the dependency libwebkit does not exist.

Huh, pacman -Syu and retrying the build did it. Okay then...

Sequitur: Have you upgraded all packages on your system to latest version?
It looks like a problem in the dependencies rather than gnome-inform7.

The build fails for me. Full error output is a bit long to paste here, so: http://ix.io/5oP

This breaks with

make[3]: Entering directory `/build/AUR/gnome-inform7/src/gnome-inform7-6G60/src'
CCLD gnome-inform7
/usr/bin/ld: libchimara/libchimara.a(libchimara_a-style.o): undefined reference to symbol 'log@@GLIBC_2.0'
/usr/bin/ld: note: 'log@@GLIBC_2.0' is defined in DSO /lib/libm.so.6 so try adding it to the linker command line
/lib/libm.so.6: could not read symbols: Invalid operation
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

for me. Adding -lm to line 374 of gnome-inform7-6G60/src/Makefile fixes this for me.
