I am still using it, but I will see if I can update my scripts for using secret-tool.

Alternatively, if they are functionally equivalent, what I can do to ensure backward compatibility is to modify this package to be a dependency of libsecret, and make a symlink from gnome-keyring-query to secret-tool.

Is this wrapper still relevant, now that libsecret includes secret-tool?

@david.runge: updated, thanks

@duquesnc:
gcc and pkg-config are both base-devel and thus must not be included in makedepends!

Thank you! I updated the package.

Just a heads up that "libgnome-keyring" is a make dependency

This package doesn't install anything for me.
The tool is built just fine, but nothing gets installed to the system.
