@rafaelff: It doesn't need appstream-glib at all, I was wrong before. It only needs appstream for the test, so appstream should be in checkdepends().

This no longer requires cmake to build.

Thanks for the heads up. When I created this PKGBUILD (although I didn't), there was not tag, so I had to use the previous solution. Now fixed, thanks

The pkgver should be generated by the tags. What you have there is the tag + the number of total revisions, not the number of revisions since the last tag. See VCS package guidelines.

EDIT: Also, appstream-glib is only required to build, it's not a runtime dependency
