Looks like Gnome 43 just needs to be added to the manifest and no other changes are needed to get it working.

Broken again in GNOME 42. Seems to work fine after adding 42 to metadata.json.

@liamtimms I patched in support for GNOME 41 now

@j.r. are you planning to keep patching this to work with GNOME 41?

j.r commented on 2021-04-13 07:47 (UTC)

Just to be clear: this was flagged out of date because it does not work with Gnome 40 anymore. I applied the patch from PR 156 to get it working again, but be aware that this PR was not officially merged by upstream and might still contain bugs.

@duhbLow7 yeah I'm glad to maintain this now

thanks j.r for taking over this package!

@dubLow7

No problem. Glad to help. :)

Ah, I see, these issues are on regular basis with gnome... (Almost) every time the new version of gnome comes out, it breaks some extensions...

Unfortunately I can't help, since I'm currently using xfce4, instead of gnome to avoid frequent issues. :)

@Anty0

Thanks still getting used to the Arch way of doing things.

I edited the PGKBUILD for the git version. I just did a fresh install and the latest version of this package was throwing errors that have been fixed in the latest git version.
