@duhbLow7 That's because this package is not "*-git" package.
This package will always build version which was tested by package maintainer, instead of the newest possible version.
You can grab -git version of the package (or create it yourself, in case it doesn't exist), if you want to have version based on the latest git commit. :)
This AUR script is grabbing an archived version of this script off github.
source=("${pkgname}-${pkgver}.tar.gz::https://github.com/phocean/TopIcons-plus/archive/v${pkgver}.tar.gz")
Why not just grab https://github.com/phocean/TopIcons-plus.git?
To fix the extension on Gnome 3.30 the PKGBUILD could apply this patch (https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1031/topicons/) on TopIcons@phocean.net/extension.js:181:
-tray.manage_screen(global.screen, Main.panel.actor);
+tray.manage_screen(Main.panel.actor);

I have got the same problem after updating to GNOME Shell 3.28.0 Updated: Works fine in X11 but not in Wayland
For some reason I can't click on the icons anymore. Anyone else having this issue?
