@ptkato Thanks, should be fixed now.

I'm having troubles, any tips?

vinszent commented on 2016-08-23 20:46

Nice, thanks for following up. I've added gobject-introspection to makedepends which should fix the issue.

ert65 commented on 2016-08-23 20:00

Yep. When i put libpeas-1.0 and libpeas-gtk-1.0, i get:
Package gobject-introspection-1.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gobject-introspection-1.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
Package 'gobject-introspection-1.0', required by 'libpeas-1.0', not found

After installing 'gobject-introspection' it compiles fine. Thank you for the help.

I've seen this error before, looking at Meson's source code. Someone had a similar problem using the normal gnome-twitch package (@DoctorJellyFace specifically). Can you try running `pkg-config --cflags $PKG` and replace $PKG with each of gtk+-3.0, libsoup-2.4, json-glib-1.0, libpeas-1.0, libpeas-gtk-1.0, x11, gstreamer-1.0, webkit2gtk-4.0 and see if any errors occur?

ert65 commented on 2016-08-23 19:12

Nope, still the same error :( .

vinszent commented on 2016-08-23 18:03

@ert65 Ok thanks, should be fixed now, I forgot libpeas as a dependency. And yes I will see if I can get split packages going for the different backends.

ert65 commented on 2016-08-23 12:10

(name, out.decode(errors='ignore')))
NameError: name 'name' is not defined
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
Doesn't compile for me too. Also, is it possible to install it from here with the mpv backend now, when it is merged to master branch?

vinszent commented on 2016-08-22 18:00

@Aqa-Ib What was the problem?

Aqa-Ib commented on 2016-08-22 00:28

It doesn't compile on my system.

vinszent commented on 2016-08-10 17:47

@ptkato Yes, clean your pacaur cache. Just rm -r ~/.cache/pacaur/gnome-twitch-git/

ptkato commented on 2016-08-10 03:35

I'm getting an error:

==> ERROR: /home/ptkato/.cache/pacaur/gnome-twitch-git/gnome-twitch-git is not a clone of

Any clues?

vinszent commented on 2016-08-06 20:42

@SvitoCH Gah they've changed it again, used to be for the community package as well. I'll fix up the build as it's the community one it depends on.

EDIT: Fixed now

svito commented on 2016-08-06 20:19

If you use meson from [Community] you need to change to meson in build().

Hope this gets resolved soon:

@vinszent change to build depend on meson-git explicitly?

Could you please post a bug over at GitHub so I can more easily follow it up. If you don't have/want an account, can you please email me the output of: gnome-twitch -l debug.

Personally I am unable to replicate this error, so any info you can give me will help.

Thanks @ReStrictOr, I've merged your p.r. and fixed the other build issues. Should install properly now.

ReStrictOr commented on 2015-10-25 16:47

No "mkdir -p" is not sufficient. I sent a pull request on GitHub.

ReStrictOr commented on 2015-10-25 10:14

When building with pacaur and there already is a previously fetched git repo in /tmp, the command "mkdir build" in PKGBUILD fails, as the directory already exists:

mkdir: cannot create directory ‘build’: File exists
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().

Adding the option "-p" to mkdir should fix this.

bulletmark commented on 2015-10-09 10:24

No, never seen it before with any other AUR package. Actually, I just tried it again and it does finish the build and install even though that error message is output on the fly at the start.

The app seems to run ok (although it looks quite buggy and has some awkward design/implementation issues).

vinszent commented on 2015-10-09 09:18

Works fine for me. Do you get this problem for other AUR packages? I don't think I'm doing anything peculiar in the build that would cause this.

bulletmark commented on 2015-10-08 22:34

When I try to install using yaourt I get the error:

==> Building and installing package
mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/var/abs/local/yaourtbuild/gnome-twitch-git’: Permission denied
