Thanks @Fixed,

I recently set up automatic build/test jobs using clean arch docker images as base. I also stumbled across a problem with ImageMagick, the package does not even combile on a clean system (opposed to your and my system). Since upstream GDL authors recommend using GraphicsMagick over ImageMagick, and GraphicsMagick is available in extra, I switched dependencies, so the package comiles again. If tests run fine, I will push an updated version. I also hope to be able to activate GDLs unit/integration tests at build time, but at the moment I'm not sure if they work on a headless system not having access to X...

Best, Jan

Hello,

Attempt to run gdl produces:

$ gdl

gdl: error while loading shared libraries: libMagick++-7.Q16HDRI.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I uninstalled and re-installed GDL, no luck.

UPD: Sorry, mistakenly entered makepkg -Si. Entering makepkg -si compiled the package OK, now it works.

Maybe someone can help me with the following.

I am migrating from IDL to GDL, but the set of important functions, such as ts_smooth, median, smooth is not supported as in IDL. Those functions are related to smoothing of 1D noisy graphs.

Does anyone has a solution or a pointer?

Hey @Fixed,

the wxgtk-package has been renamed, I already uploaded a new revision to reflect the naming change. Unfortunaltely you will need to uninstall gnudatalanguage first, then perform the system upgrade, and after that reinstall the new version of gnudatalanguage.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

@Universebenzene:

makepks -si for gdl fixed it.

Thank you, Bro!

@Fixed you just need to rebuild this package.

I'll have a look into this as soon as possible.
