Good observation, at first I was confused about what to do about naming/versioning and choose the laziest path. I'll put a fixed version number from now on, thanks. =P

Looks great, thanks! Minor suggestion though: Naming the package "gohufont-powerline-git" would conform to the official guidelines for VCS packages. Also it would make it easier to manage with pacaur. Pacaur gets unhappy when it compares the version number in .SRCINFO to the version number of the package. The number in .SRCINFO comes from the original pkgbuild (e.g. 0.3), but the number for the package comes from git (e.g. 0.2.r3.ge5c8849-1), via the pkgver() function in the PKGBUILD. If the package is named *-git, pacaur figures out what to do properly. I think another workaround would be to update the PKGBUILD with the version number from git.

That was fast; thanks! This looks gorgeous in Spacemacs! https://ptpb.pw/JhdR.png

Fixed, thanks for reporting! The font name is "gohup", just the package name is "gohufont-powerline". I just followed the original naming convertions (gohu / gohufont).

I tried installing this, but I'm getting: ==> ERROR: license should be an array ==> ERROR: url should not be an array ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build gohufont-powerline. Any ideas how to fix this? Also, is the name "gohup" or "gohufont-powerline" when declaring it in config files? Thanks!

Thanks, xinchi! I've changed the make install PREFIX to /usr.

Original Makefile will install fonts to /usr/local/share/fonts/misc, instead of /usr/share/fonts/misc. Thus Arch Linux won't read fonts through fc-list.
