Thanks for the report @michaelkl - gcc, patch and pkgconf are in the base-devel group which is assumed to be installed when building packages, and should not be added to makedepends: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PKGBUILD#makedepends

Hi @raffomania!
I installed the package on a fresh system and noticed minor issues with missing dependencies. Please add packages "gcc", "patch" and "pkgconf" in makedepends.

The taglib issue should now be fixed with the update to 0.16.3.

@mokman thanks i've bumped gonic's audiotags (taglib library) fork to support taglib v2

it won't build with the latest taglib version 2.0-1 from extra. had to downgrade to 1.13.1-1.

Please simplify this PKGBUILD by placing the config back in /etc/gonic/config. /etc/ is the correct place for config files
