the prepare function has a mkdir command that should be mkdir -p to avoid getting an error if the directory already exists

I don't understand what I need to do, tbh. Don't even know if I need to do anything... I bumped the package version, and tried installing it using pacaur, and it seems to work.

The issue has since been closed, would you mind fixing the package? :)

I raised an issue on the pacaur GitHub a few months ago: https://github.com/rmarquis/pacaur/issues/564

Oh, I wasn't aware that I wasn't doing git "right". Well, I guess that has to do with the f-ing depot tools...

@DonOregano: this problem seems to happen only with pacaur. I was able to reproduce the installation failure when PKGBUILD has newer version than .SRCINFO, with pacaur only (yaourt and manually are ok). My guess this is related to the fact that your package isn't exactly a '-git' package (as you don't download using Git, and don't have a git formatted 'source=') but your pkgname has the suffix '-git' -- I saw some bug reports about this in pacaur. How about you request support in https://github.com/rmarquis/pacaur/issues ?

Are these pacaur problems something that happens on other packages as well? Or am I doing something wrong in this package?

@Mocha_Bean: are you having problem just like edgard? Do you use pacaur?

Mocha_Bean commented on 2016-09-25 00:16 (UTC) (edited on 2016-09-25 00:18 (UTC) by Mocha_Bean)

.SRCINFO (pkgver=r1538.1388868) doesn't match PKGBUILD (pkgver=r1539.7398ce1) EDIT: Nevermind, this problem only seems to happen with pacaur. I downloaded the snapshot, and I got r1538.1388868 in both. Odd.

Well, I changed the url as requested below and bumped the version. Which is why you got a new version.
