I will not update (for now) to the latest version 7.3.6.9326 because it crashes continuously for me.

Thanks, unfortunate timing then.

For reference, with Gnome shell / wayland I need to

unset QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME
unset QT_QPA_PLATFORM

to avoid

Google Earth has caught signal 6.

Hi there, I also use 64bit arch and for the first time I ran googleearth it was all fine. How do I install google-earth with pcman. Now I have to run it manually: /home/frojnd/aur/google-earth/google-earth/pkg/google-earth/opt/google/earth/free/googleearth

Oh, I see. It is because yaourt was trying to install the binary ld-lsb package from archlinuxfr, which is only for x86_64. I just had to install it from the aur separately, and that fixes the problem.

Alister.Hood commented on 2013-07-19 02:58 (UTC)

Is that anything to do with this?: # google-earth /usr/bin/google-earth: line 17: ./googleearth-bin: No such file or directory

Alister.Hood commented on 2013-07-19 02:47 (UTC)

On i686 a dependency on ls-lsb doesn't work: warning: cannot resolve "lib32-glibc", a dependency of "ld-lsb" :: The following package cannot be upgraded due to unresolvable dependencies: ld-lsb
