@TrialnError shouldn't be an issue now. The problem with python3 got fixed. gonna remove build function in a bit. It kept going from broken to working to broken lol.

Jeah, I thought so. It happened to me before too :D One additional note. Functions, that do nothing (in this case the build function) should be removed at all. Also stuff like sed'ing the shebang or patching should be done in the prepare() function (see man 5 PKGBUILD)

Hi The makedepend on git is for the stable package not necessary as you download the provided tarball and do not clone the repo + checkout the tag
