@sr98vn: The source files are versioned now so that won't happen.

I'm getting the following error when building with yay.

Edit: Clean building resolved the issue.

hello everybody, in this moment there is a error:

/usr/lib/goverlay: error while loading shared libraries: libfmt.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

anyone know how I can fix this?

Edit:

This is a mangohud problem with relationship fmt.You should recompile mangohud but first delete pre compile package.

Hey @yochananmarqos, sorry for the latest problems. I've lost access to my github account due to issues with 2FA. Github support couldn´t just desactivate 2FA, so they renamed the account and i had to fork the code from myself. I forgot to update the releases page, will do it now.

@SleepingPanda: I've updated the source URL.

@benjamimgois: What's with the renaming and forking?

SleepingPanda commented on 2022-04-30 08:16 (UTC)

Tried building this and I'm getting 404 at the sources link. Has the github repo moved? There aren't any releases on the github page.

@benjamimgois: Oops. Fixed with 0.8-2.

Hey @yochananmarqos, in the latest 0.8 release i got lot's of reports that goverlay-bin is giving a permission error

/usr/lib/goverlay’: Permission denied

The same doesn't happen with goverlay-git package, do you know what might be the problem ?

I found a problem: when using Gnome Wayland (with Nvidia card, I don't know if AMD is affected too), if you launch GOverlay the first time, it works fine, but if you start to change settings on the menu, (check boxes, etc), then it closes, and if you open it again, then the whole GUI window is black, and you can't do anything, it only says the program does not respond (wait or force exit). The only way to be able to see the GUI window again is to close the Wayland session and start an X11 session instead. Also completely uninstalling GOverlay and its dependencies from Pamac doesn't work either, the problem remains. UPDATE: The problem started when I pressed a color option next to the "Load Color" option.
