Hey @yochananmarqos, in the latest Goverlay versions i had to add some new dependencies to make it more feature complete. In order to make it easier for users, could you add the following packages as dependecies ?
ttf-dejavu , ttf-ubuntu-font-family , breeze

@benjamimgois: No worries, the latest commits have resolved the issue.

Sorry guys, i had some issues on the latest commits and had to revert then. I think that it's working now. Take a look

@andyl98: That happened to me as well before the 0.7 release, but it's been resolved. Apparently your AUR helper isn't helping you out much.

I am receiving the following error with the latest commit as of the time of this comment:

@benjamingois: Done!

@yochananmarqos we're having some problems compiling goverlay on Chaotic-AUR. I was speaking with the devs there and the ask to add the "desktop-file-utils" as a dependency to fix the problem.

Man... you are fast ! :)
Thanks @yochananmarqos

@benjamingois: I know, already done. ;)

Hey @yochananmarqos, in order to build the new QT5 interface the build process need a little change. Now the command to build is:
lazbuild -B goverlay.lpi --ws=qt5
Could you make the changes ?
yochananmarqos commented on 2020-08-03 18:39 (UTC)
For those clamoring for a binary package, here you are: goverlay-bin
.

@yochananmarqos, now it's working ;)

@f3ck4r @SleeplessSloth: I reverted the last commit for now.
SleeplessSloth commented on 2020-07-19 18:59 (UTC)
I have the same error as @f3ck4r, perhaps I can somehow provide any more debug info?

@Stryker: The download is small, the install size is what's large:
Packages (4) fpc-3.0.4-6 fpc-src-3.0.4-2 appstream-0.12.11-1 lazarus-2.0.8-1
Total Download Size: 148.22 MiB
Total Installed Size: 1202.30 MiB
sankasan commented on 2020-06-22 18:12 (UTC)
@yochananmarqos, I think Strykar refers to the Lazarus
build dependency which some users prefer not to keep installed due to the size.
yochananmarqos commented on 2020-05-14 14:28 (UTC)
@Strykar: I don't download anything when I rebuild unless there's an update as the packages are in my pacman cache.
Strykar commented on 2020-05-14 08:11 (UTC)
Would it be possible to create a goverlay-bin package, to not have to download over a GB every time this rebuilds?
yochananmarqos commented on 2020-05-04 15:13 (UTC)
@vesterlay: I just applied the upstream changes, it will install now.
