@jvybihal thanks for the diff! It looks mostly good to me and I'll work on getting your changes integrated in to this PKGBUILD.

Hey guys, I have made some modifications to the PKGBUILD for selfish reasons. They might be a little rusty, but they are good-enough for me.
I have added bash-completion script from original repo, govc-env and some example scripts, that might be handy to have in package.
Feel free to comment, use it, or steal it for the benefits of this package :) I can also co-maintain, if desired.
