The package 'adw-gtk3' has been deleted from the repos. Please remove adw-gtk3 from the PKGBUILD. EDIT: Nevermind. The project is dead. This package should be flagged. https://daudix.one/blog/archiving-gradience/

Gradience GUI is failing to launch for me:

Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/gradience", line 70, in <module> from gradience.frontend import main File "/usr/lib/python3.12/site-packages/gradience/frontend/main.py", line 24, in <module> from material_color_utilities_python import hexFromArgb ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'material_color_utilities_python'

I've got AUR python-material-color-utilities 0.1.5-1 installed.

GUI does not run anymore with:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/python3.12/site-packages/yapsy/PluginManager.py", line 132, in <module>
    import importlib.abc.Loader as imp
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'importlib.abc.Loader'; 'importlib.abc' is not a package

During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/gradience", line 70, in <module>
    from gradience.frontend import main
  File "/usr/lib/python3.12/site-packages/gradience/frontend/main.py", line 35, in <module>
    from gradience.frontend.views.plugins_list import GradiencePluginsList
  File "/usr/lib/python3.12/site-packages/gradience/frontend/views/plugins_list.py", line 22, in <module>
    from yapsy.PluginManager import PluginManager
  File "/usr/lib/python3.12/site-packages/yapsy/PluginManager.py", line 134, in <module>
    import imp
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'imp'

When running the CLI, preset migration fails when there is more then 1 preset, needed to do it manually.

Please check the dependencies with adw-gtk-theme and adw-gtk3

adw-gtk3 is now in the official arch repo but got renamed to adw-gtk-theme. This will conflict with adw-gtk-theme from the aur

@xiota yapsy is compatible with Python 3.12 since https://github.com/tibonihoo/yapsy/pull/11 was merged. I've made python-yapsy-git and tested on my system, It works.

I'm pretty sure all the issues with this package stem from yapsy not having a release in 5 years despite patching the bugs that are present. A python-yapsy-git package would resolve this.

@D3vil0p3r: "Bump version"? No matter what you bump, upstream is dead and Gradience has not worked properly since GNOME 45.

I took ownership of this package. I applied what you requested.
