python-setuptools is necessary as a makedepends to build this package.

This AUR package (and a couple of my other -git packages) no longer build, and I believe it's due to github changing their security. That page states "If you’re having trouble cloning a repository, make sure the URL starts with ssh://, https://, or" and I see git:// in the PKGBUILD.

When I changed the PKGBUILD to source=('git+') and run makepkg -si it builds successfully.

Does this really need the git version of python-stagger? A non-git version is also available, hence my question.

After adding package python-setuptools as dependency, this aur package builds. Shouldn't it be added to the dependencies?

@manolomartinez: It's working fine now, thanks!

I think it should work now. Mind you, there *is* a new version, but after that it should no keep on bugging you.

@manolomartinez: It's still not working correctly. Yaourt is still showing that there is a new version ( available when doing system update. Version of greg created with your updated PKGBUILD is "v0.".

@Prym0o and @tsuflux done, thanks for the heads up. Please let me know if it's working correctly now. M

@Prym0o: That is because the version specified in the PKGBUILD here is newer than the version that is actually available from git. @manolomartinez: Please decrement the version number to as per your newest release on Github.

Greg wants to update it's version from "v0." to "0.4.5-2" every time I do full system update.
