@eeeeei Thanks a lot for sending that link — I was able to download the tarball and install it without issues. Package is now updated to 5.2.8-2 on my end. Appreciate the quick help.

@serber1990 There is no good solution for network issues, except for changing the network environment or using an image. I can provide you with a latest version of the image https://raw.githubusercontent.com/irtkll/Grub-Customizer-img/refs/heads/main/grub-customizer_5.2.8.tar.gz

I'm not being able to reach the download page either, the packages throws a TLS error:

@Alarg - it wasn't working for me either (EE 4G connection in UK), but did via a VPN.

Would it be possible to update the PKGBUILD to the newest 5.2.8 version so the "out of date" flag can be removed again? Updating it manually works but is tedious.

Greetings, I don't know if this has to be reported upstream, but I wanted to let you know that the app doesn't read from /usr/share/grub/themes, only from /boot/grub/themes, I have tested the app with both AUR and community packages (grub-theme-vimix and grub-theme-lenovo as examples) and it doesn't read from where the packages are provided.
It works if you manually copy the files from those packages (and probably others) to /boot
