Just letting future users know that the md5 has been corrected and the PKGBUILD does not require editing, works as intended now!

Yup, github did something to every single zipball out there that changed the md5. :(

As suggested by oconnor663, I got rid of the GRUB_FORCE_HIDDEN_MENU. You can get rid of that flag now.

Thanks for this package!

@possum: As the install message mentions, you need to make sure to add GRUB_FORCE_HIDDEN_MENU="true" to your /etc/default/grub. Also, did you remember to run `grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg` after that?

@hobarrera: I'm not sure we really need the GRUB_FORCE_HIDDEN_MENU flag. I think it's reasonable to assume that if the user has installed this package, they want the holdshift feature to be turned on. Having the flag makes it more likely that users will forget to add it and then be confused.

Also, do you think it would be reasonable to automate the grub-mkconfig step? Again, it seems like the vast majority of users are going to need to run that step after they install this package, and many of them will forget and be confused. On the other hand, there's a risk that we'll overwrite a not-automatically-generated grub.cfg, which would be really bad. Maybe it's enough to check for the "DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE" header, and just print a notification if we don't see it? If that's too risky/magical, maybe we can at least add a message to the install script to remind users to do this step?

@possum: It's the same script. I actually posted that wiki section just before uploading this AUR package.

Doesn't work on my laptop. But changing the script for this one does:

Maybe you should consider changing it.

@rich_o: Fixed. Actually, is should have been arch=("any"). :)

Please remove the comma in arch=("i686", "x86_64").
