It appears this needs glu now to build. Also seems to be missing gtk-doc as a makedeps.

Appears to be missing a dependency on gtk-doc

Solved after rebuilding gst-plugins-base-git

FYI, I got this error ges-pipeline.c: In function ‘ges_pipeline_set_render_settings’: ges-pipeline.c:987:11: erreur: implicit declaration of function ‘gst_encoding_profile_set_allow_dynamic_output’ [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration] gst_encoding_profile_set_allow_dynamic_output (tmpprofiles->data, ^ ges-pipeline.c:987:11: erreur: nested extern declaration of ‘gst_encoding_profile_set_allow_dynamic_output’ [-Werror=nested-externs] I'll try to change the flags...

is it just me or does this need glu to build now?

ewtoombs commented on 2014-04-16 06:25 (UTC)

@quequotion: That's changed now. It compiles fine with the provided flags, but gtkdoc fails. Add --disable-gtk-doc to skip this step, and it will get packaged.

gstreamer-egl depends on mesa's libEGL, which cannot be installed alongside nvidia's. If you're using nvidia's proprietary driver, you'll have to add --with-egl-window-system=none to autogen.sh's command line.

the patch wasn't needed anymore, since upstream provided bison 3.0 compatibility

Try building without 0002-parse-fix-build-with-bison-3.0.patch
