Yea, had a newbie moment not actually thinking or checking the wiki. My bad, sorry for that!

If fails to retrieve keys, try keyserver from MIT:

gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys 5D2EEE6F6F349D7C

@hosibach: Please only flag a package out of date if there is a new release.

Looks like the public key needs to be updated:

gst-rtsp-server-1.18.4.tar.xz ... FAILED (unknown public key 5D2EEE6F6F349D7C)

Looks like you haven't added the key to your keyring, there's nothing wrong with the key:

@JBecker, I can't reproduce your problem. Could you specify steps to reproduce it and share your system info?

JBecker commented on 2021-02-24 20:33

Build repeatedly fails with error:

../gst-rtsp-server-1.18.3/tests/check/gst/stream.c:78:F:general:test_get_sockets_udp:0: Assertion 'gst_rtsp_stream_allocate_udp_sockets (stream, socket_family, transport, FALSE)' failed

yochananmarqos commented on 2021-02-24 19:51

@nicolito: I can't reproduce that, it builds fine for me and detects g-ir-scanner during build.

Program g-ir-scanner found: YES (/usr/bin/g-ir-scanner)

nicolito commented on 2021-02-24 19:09

I could not build because _giscanner module couldn't be found

 Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/g-ir-scanner", line 98, in <module>
    from giscanner.scannermain import scanner_main
  File "/usr/lib/gobject-introspection/giscanner/scannermain.py", line 35, in <module>
    from giscanner.ast import Include, Namespace
  File "/usr/lib/gobject-introspection/giscanner/ast.py", line 29, in <module>
    from .sourcescanner import CTYPE_TYPEDEF, CSYMBOL_TYPE_TYPEDEF
  File "/usr/lib/gobject-introspection/giscanner/sourcescanner.py", line 35, in <module>
    from giscanner._giscanner import SourceScanner as CSourceScanner
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'giscanner._giscanner'

Solved this by soft linking to the existing module ln -s /usr/lib/gobject-introspection/giscanner/_giscanner.cpython-39-x86_64-linux-gnu.so /usr/lib/gobject-introspection/giscanner/_giscanner.so.

Not sure this is an issue of this package, or if this is a particularly good way of solving the issue, but it appeared when trying to install this package and the soft link solved my issue.
