> Love the dark theme! Thanks for the update. Your welcome. I don't have much time to work on the themes myself but if anyone issues a pull request on the github repo I'll do my best to get them merged.

Love the dark theme! Thanks for the update. Only place I notice an issue with the dark theme is with icecat (suppose firefox is the same?), in that tex boxes are dark, and the text is in black which makes it hard to read. Pidgin text box is dark but font is light which is great. Anyone else got this issue? I've tried various default icecat skins etc.

@ktoump I updated the package with improvements from mkrnr/Numix-Solarized-Dark

@corebob now that you mention gh there are many forks with fixed colors actually

@privong, @ktoump Ok, I have now consolidated the light and dark themes into a new source package at github, trying to keep things clean. The third theme was practically the same as the light theme so I didn't add that. I also cleaned up the folders that had copies of the theme in them.

about the dark theme: see the comment of "alexthegreater" on deviantart, the author posted there the fully dark gtk2 fixed theme, you could add it to sources and then make 3 different themes :) edit: this one - https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7sk4k9orp573gnp/AADzQtKYgTByr6_WsA481hLJa?dl=0

@corebob Thanks for the additional info – I hadn't checked the upstream package. I'm not really sure what the best approach is. The simplest option may be to indicate in the package description that it only provides light themes. I don't know how easy it is to get in touch with the original author about improving the packaging.

@privong You are right, the source for this package is not very good. The two themes are not identical on my system, but the Numix Solarized theme is not dark the way it should be, and there is a duplicate, as you said. I am not the maintainer of the original theme so I can't really fix the coloring. Any suggestion what to do with this package?

Thanks for packaging this for AUR. However, it seems to only install the light theme? gtk-theme-switch2 shows two options ("Numix Solarized" and "Numix Solarized Light"), but they appear visually identical. I was expecting "Numix Solarized" to be the dark theme. Also, and perhaps related, this seems to install a duplicate copy of the "Numix Solarized" in /usr/share/themes/Numix Solarized Light/
