Thanks for the heads-up @Static_Rocket. I pushed a change.

The upstream desktop entry changed paths:

Install sections sed and install commands need to be updated accordingly.

@Chewing_Bever I updated it to match what upstream supports.

The arch value of this package shouldn't be any, as it builds architecture-specific binaries.

x86_64 would be more correct (I don't know whether gtkcord4 also works on aarch64 or other architectures).

@Chewing_Bever Thanks for the heads-up! I fixed it.

For the last two days, this package has been failing to build with the following error in the package() function:

==> Starting package()...
sed: can't read /build/repo/src/gtkcord/.nix/com.github.diamondburned.gtkcord4.desktop: No such file or directory
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().

It seems the .nix directory has been renamed to nix, which is probably causing this issue.

@griffin Did it work fine before the last change to this package?

griffin commented on 2022-11-19 06:44 (UTC)

Launching in Plasma menu gives the following error: The name com.github.diamondburned.gtkcord4 was not provided by any .service files

However gtkcord4 in terminal runs fine.

@computerzoo I added the dependency. It should build now. Give it a go (pun intended).

I'm having a weird build issue with this. Whenever I try to install the package, it fails to build and gives me this message:

Package gobject-introspection-1.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gobject-introspection-1.0.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable Package 'gobject-introspection-1.0', required by 'virtual:world', not found pkg-config: exit status 1

I dunno if this is a dependency issue or what.
