Do you have pkgconf installed?

Check with pacman -Qs pkgconf. If you don't have it installed, I suggest you install base-devel (it will pull in pkgconf), as per the Wiki.

Build fails in my case:

checking for perl5... no checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl checking for indent... no ./configure: line 15198: syntax error near unexpected token BASE_DEPENDENCIES,' ./configure: line 15198:PKG_CHECK_MODULES(BASE_DEPENDENCIES, \' ==> ERRORE: Si è verificato un errore in build(). L'operazione sta per essere interrotta... errore: compilazione fallita per 'gtkglext-1.2.0-17': errore: compilazione fallita per i seguenti pacchetti: gtkglext-1.2.0-17

Any hint?

Thanks for spotting that. Fixed.

Hello, glib2-devel seems to be a makedepend only (it's not a needed runtime dependency according to namcap).

Now I understand what happened. Thanks for the feedback. I'm sad to hear that they've stopped official support. It's a necessary package for other AUR PKGBUILDs. Thanks!

Hi, there is no update to the software. This package was dropped from the official repo and I submitted a PKGBUILD here to the AUR as the software is required for another PKGBUILD that I maintain. I hope this helps.

Sorry for asking, I'm a newbie. I took a look at PKGBUILD and didn't find anything suspicious. However, I don't know why it's asking me to update an old package to one created on 2024-07-17. I was confused.
