I've quickly packaged the old but good gtkterm 0.99.6 that doesn't have this issue. I don't want to run it as root, it's very uncomfortable to me ...

Has anyone been able to successfully run gtkterm with systemd? The program always fails with "cannot open create lockfile" ... I cannot find a solution ...

The patch to configure.ac has hit upstream and isn't necessary anymore.

Well I cannot compile with just `./configure && make` There is a problem in the build of translation (po), the changed made are kind of ugly: Just do not stop on warning during automake... I should had report this problem upstream a long time ago...
