Hi, I got the same screen @spsf64 got when installing from AUR.

There's some errors raised when Guayadeque start. They're not fatal errors but this screen pops up when there's some debug enabled. You can click "Continue" in every dialog and Guayadeque will execute without problems. I compile it by myself and the dialogs didn't pop up.

Those errors are there since a executed Guayadeque for the first time! I'm going to investigate a way to remove them.

Thanks everyone!

amazing news @thothix! Thx for your effort!!

@spsf64 I didn't encounter those errors

I don't have installed debug packages (/usr/src/debug/[...] in your screenshot) and I build my packages in a clean chroot https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/DeveloperWiki:Building_in_a_clean_chroot, not sure if it changes something for you but you could try

@FabioLolix, thanks for updating this package, however I encountered many errors (see link). Not sure if they are related to packaging or upstream...

Hey thothix, thanks for let me know, I have actually seen your repo a couple of days ago from a repology notification and updating is incoming, I have adopted guayadeque-git which has been abandoned by its maintainer

Hey Fabio,

As anonbeat is not developing Guayadeque anymore I started a new fork. I'm trying to contact him to get Guayadeque development officially but without success until now. My last Guayadeque version is building successfully in Arch, Mageia, Debian and 3 last Ubuntu LTS releases. I'm starting to contact maintainers of previous releases to know if they are interested in package these releases. I hope to get some contact to anonbeat, I even want to get with him the old forum from guayadeque.org to put it online again (or start a new one in the future).

My repo is https://github.com/thothix/guayadeque

Best regards

Thx Fabio for your fast response and good to hear that you have an eye on this repo!

and thx for pointing it out. I haven't questioned the location of cmake. that is indeed weird. i have to sort that out.

cheers!

as anonbeat is not developing guayadeque anymore

I wasn't aware the development was official terminated, thanks for letting me know

it's however still a github fork. would it be possible to update your package with his? https://github.com/openmonk/guayadeque

openmonk have not released any version yet and the program still fails to build against the new taglib 2.0, I'll see in the future, I have enabled notifications for that repo

==> Starting build()...
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/home/X/.local/bin/cmake", line 5, in <module>
    from cmake import cmake
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'cmake'

There is something peculiar in your environment, why it is trying to use ~/.local/bin/cmake instead of /usr/sbin/cmake and it looks like the tipical python module error

Hey Fabio,

as anonbeat is not developing guayadeque anymore, openmonk has jumped in to provide some fixes. it's however still a github fork. would it be possible to update your package with his? https://github.com/openmonk/guayadeque

Thanks for your help in advance!

For now I get a build error, when trying to (re)install your package:
