release 0.5 makes use of the i2c protocol to control external screen backlight brightness
this feature is optional; to be able to use it:
- load the
i2c-dev
kernel module- add your user to the
i2c
groupa post_install/post_upgrade hook was added to notify users about these post-installation steps

The
master
branch is not stable as of right now(https://github.com/Fushko/gummy/issues/1#issuecomment-1025714422)
Be aware that installing
gummy-git
instead ofgummy
will build against themaster
branch. Sincemaster
isn't stable yet, you may experience bugs. The application may not start or work correctly.For a stable release, install gummy instead.
