Your source link is improper.

The file gxe-1.29.tar.gz changes with new commits.

Please kindly link to the latest commit version of that file.

The commit title refers to it as v129U 2022/12/15.

I guess you can use this for pkgver (ofc in a proper format, like 1.29_2022.12.15 or something).

There is no ncursesw-devel package or AUR.

configure: error: "FATAL:ncursesw/ncurses.h not found. Install ncursesw-devel."
