@gnac use an AUR helper (https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AUR_helpers). I personally use paru, but yay is another popular alternative.

Is there any way to install this without having to manually download and install all of the dependencies from AUR and all of their dependencies recursively? I am currently on the 33rd package I have had to manually checkout from aur and install.

I had to set QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb on Plama/Wayland in order to make the renderer not crash when loading gz-rendering-ogre2. See the following link for general troubleshooting.
