Did not work for me. I got version inconsistencies between ghcide and haskell-language-server.

I ended up installing locally with:

stack ./install.hs hls

This will install both ghcide and haskell-language-server in ~/.local/bin.

Please consider updating the build step by selecting stack-8.10.1.yaml now that it is available.

We maintain a built bot that automatically rebuild this package whenever the upstream pushes code into the git tree. If you find that annoying you can also add haskell-language-server-git to IgnorePkg
