What exactly does headphones.tmpfile script do (I cant find the source)? When does one need to run it, always or maybe just when upgrading? Doesn't seem intuitive to me at all...

@dominicm: Hello, I will not add a check in my PKGBUILD because systemd-tmpfiles already handles it ;) Just run `systemd-tmpfiles --create` and then start the headphones service.

I am getting "('Unable to write PID file: %s', IOError(13, 'Permission denied'))" error. Shouldn't everything in /run be owned by root? If not maybe add a directory existence check and chmod it? this is probably because I had headphones-git installed before as I assume the dir is otherwise created with correct ownership.

Never mind, this did the trick in config.ini: check_github = 0 check_github_on_startup = 0

Is there any way to fix the package so that it doesn't think it has an unknown version? Every section or page you go to shows the "You're running an unknown version of Headphones" pop-up. Cheers.

Blech, can one *un* flag as out of date? :p

Hello, Could I have a bit more information about why the package has been marked out-of-date please ? The last release on their github is still the 0.5.9.
