Changelog 2021/08/31: Changed broken and deprecated license curl, removed obsolete PKGEXT to reduce package size, and finally bumped version to v3.3.3.

Note for prospective users[1]:

ATTENTION: Headset no longer uses a shared YouTube API Key.

Due to changes in the calculation and limits of the Youtube API combined with the significant growth Headset experienced in the last year, we are no longer able to provide a single API Key to all of our users. As a result, each user will have to provide their own API keys. This is a one-time, straight forward process which will allow you to continue using Headset without interruptions.

Important: You need to have a Gmail account to use Headset. If you need to create one, please go to this link https://myaccount.google.com/intro and click "Create a Google Account"

So yeah... I'll pass.

@krilmun: I've checked the sources of the headset app - they don't contain any keybindings for right/left key. They only bind to the media keys. Maybe the combination that you're using triggers somehow media prev/next keys?

Hello!

I don't know if this is a porting issue or something, but I have a custom keyboard shortcut to switch to next/previous workspace using CTRL + ALT + Right/Left Arrow.

Whenever I leave the Headset main window focused and switch to another workspace, if I use the shortcuts and go back to the workspace where Headset was, the Right/Left arrows end up fast forwarding/backwarding the music/video.

As I don't have this issue with any other app, such as VLC, I thought it'd be a good idea to ask here. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

This does not require gconf and also requires libnotify for the music control notification.

Hey. There's a v3.0.0 :) I offer myself as a co-maintainer - I could push updates if you want to.
