I've updated the package to include a link to the plugins folder which fixes some crashes. If you still experience any, please comment and I will see what I can do :)

Updated to 8.1. To work properly, you must use "winecfg" and set the Windows version to "Windows XP".

I haven't updated it to 8.0 because of this bug: https://code.google.com/p/heidisql/issues/detail?id=3192 . It's pretty broken. :(

thanks for this, always liked heidisql and glad to see it works through wine. Ill give it a go!
