The AppImage currently forces GDK_BACKEND=x11 in its bundled linuxdeploy-plugin-gtk.sh, so it always runs through XWayland on Wayland sessions. The deb-based helixnotes-bin package runs natively under Wayland, so this may be worth revisiting if the old Tauri/Wayland crash workaround is no longer needed.

It worked, I had to manually remove the dir from the yay cache.

I have identified the issue, the helixnotes.desktop file had an uncommitted change that caused a sha256sum mismatch. This has been fixed and pushed. Please try installing again, it should work now.

It's happening again, as NickAM1025 said.

I'm seeing the same issue as Cruzoeee with the latest build 1.2.7.

I've tried rebuilding and clearing the cache.

I'll try again soon

PKGBUILD sha256sum is correct, it's an AUR caching issue. Should resolve itself soon.

The problem persists. Changing the sha256sum manually fixes it.

Ok, for some reason aur downloaded the PKGBUILD file with the wrong sha256sums
