So ... in terms of a service file I had a couple of problems.

1) User can't come from the EnvironmentFile (so I use su)
2) Environment isn't kept in an su (so I source within the su)

Result can be found here:

Thanks for the info poo706. I made dupe.pathjoin.diff based on this info and it seems to be okay now based on a quick test.

- repairCmd.append('*._hellanzb_dupe*')
+ repairCmd.append(pathjoin(dirName, '*._hellanzb_dupe*'))

Par2 verify fails every time because par2 thinks none of the downloaded files exist, even though they do. I'm pretty sure this began happening after I upgraded to par2cmdline 0.4-16. I managed to fix it by adding one line to /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/Hellanzb/

repairCmd = [Hellanzb.PAR2_CMD, 'r', '--']
for parFile in parFiles:
repairCmd.append(pathjoin(dirName, parFile))

I added the "os.chdir(dirName)" line and everything works beautifully. Tested with 2 different NZB's in the queue.

SSL support no longer an optional depend, renamed package (python2-pyopenssl) added to depends.
