Hi, looks like the md5sum is messed up, the version number was probably accidentally pasted in.

Just confirming this is NOT out of date. 2.8.0-1 is the current release. A competing build has a version labeled as 2.9.0 (likely a pre-release build), but there is no official release from the Heroic team past 2.8.0.
Per the creator, this is the recommended package. https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher#arch-aur

Unflaged. This is happening more often than I wanted to. Every time we release a new heroic version, I push the changes here to AUR at the exact same time, but people still flag it as out of date. this is pretty annoying but happens on all releases. I think a better way to check should be implemented here.

This is wrongfully flagged out-of-date, this is v2.6.2 including the hotfix #2.

The PKGBUILD has pkgrel set to 1 while the .SRCINFO has pkgrel set to 2. This is causing yay to keep saying that heroic-games-launcher-bin is out of date and reinstalling everytime yay is run.
