Thanks for providing this PKGBUILD.

I dont own a postmarketOS, but I'm super intrigued by hkdm (and ttyescape, buffyboard).

Can you elaborate on what and how are you personaly using this tools on Archlinux ?

If I understand correctly I can use hkdm on my Arch x86 PC.

There are similar tools to hkdm on the AUR. They are very usefull, but unfortunately abandoned.

I'd also like to see a "hkdm-bin" available on the AUR. For that I opened an issue on, https://gitlab.com/postmarketOS/hkdm/ , too see if they are also willing to releases precompiled binaries.
